About Timothy Scott Beck, M.D., Team Lead
At Life Point Medical, LLC, Timothy Scott Beck, MD, leads a team that works to build a relationship with each patient. Together they strive to give their patients the best, warmest, most effective care possible. Dr. Beck and his staff work closely with each individual patient so they can understand their wants and needs, along with their specific bodies. The result is more comprehensive, more targeted, more comfortable care delivered from the convenience of his Clayton, Georgia, office. Life Point Medical, LLC, serves patients ages 14 and up.
After serving in the United States Air Force, Dr. Beck earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. He continued onto The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine degree. To further expand his expertise, he then completed both an internship and residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in South Carolina. Dr. Beck is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Beck built his experience in the field working as a hospitalist and a primary care physician for outpatient clinics and nursing homes. Committed to delivering his patients the highest level of medical expertise and personal attention, he founded Life Point Medical, LLC. He now leads his practice with a dedication to taking good care of patients so they can enjoy their healthiest, happiest lives.
When he’s not with his patients at Life Point Medical, LLC, Dr. Beck enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, building and riding e-bikes, and playing the banjo.
About Brian Jamail, PA-C, Team Member
Brian Jamail is board-certified Physician Assistant. He is originally from Houston, TX. Brian enlisted as a medic in the Air Force in 1996 and attended college during his off duty time. He was accepted into and attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program (IPAP) in April 2007. Brian graduated from IPAP with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in May 2009, and was commissioned into the Air Force where he continued to serve as an officer. He retired from active duty in June 2019 and moved his family to Habersham County.
Brian’s prior medical experience includes family medicine, flight medicine, and urgent care medicine. He is married to his wife, Julie, and together they have 5 children. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, working on old cars, and flying small airplanes.
About Monique Pettys FNP-C, Team Member
Monique Petteys, FNP-C, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health and wellness. With a focus on personal attention, Monique offers targeted, whole-person care to the women of Clayton, Georgia, Rabun County, Georgia, and Northeast Georgia at The Women’s Center at Life Point Medical.
Originally from California, Monique has lived in the Rabun County area since 1996. She graduated from Rabun County High School in 1997 and received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Piedmont College in 2006. She received her Master’s degree with a specialty in Family Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky in 2012.
Monique has 18 years of professional nursing experience and has worked in multiple specialties throughout her career, including medical/surgical nursing and obstetrics. She has extensive training in women's health and family medicine.
She recognizes the importance of a holistic, whole-person approach to patient care, and also has a passion for rural healthcare and underserved communities.
Monique currently resides in Long Creek, South Carolina. She has two great kids, Dylan and Nyla, and also three dogs, a cat, and several chickens. She is an avid animal lover and enjoys just being in nature. She loves spending time with her friends and family, cooking, gardening, hiking, rafting, traveling, yoga, music, and adventures of all kinds.
About Pamila McIntyre, A-GNP-C, Team Member
Pamila was born on a Georgia military installation in Warner Robins, Georgia and spent a large part of her adult life serving in the United States Air Force. Raised by grandparents and church elders, it was only natural that Pamila would base her medical career caring for Adult-Geriatric patients. She completed one of her life goals by becoming a registered nurse in 2015 and went on to earn her Master’s in Nursing Science at Walden University in 2021. She did clinical rotations at Life Point Medical and joined the team officially in 2022.
Pamila obtained her Nurse Practitioner Wound Care Certificate through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy certification board in December 2022 and currently offers advanced wound care at Life Point Medical. She has always considered northeast Georgia to be her home. Pamila is married and has five daughters and six grandchildren, Her hobbies include reading, crocheting and tending to her small hobby farm raising cows, pigs and chickens.
About John Williams, PA-C, Team Member
John Williams, PA-C is a native of Hall County, GA. He pursued his Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as Master of Public Administration at North Georgia College and State University. He earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Lincoln Memorial University. John has extensive experience in internal medicine, orthopedics and emergency medicine. He lives in Clayton with his wife Annie and three children. Outside of work John enjoys running, fishing and anthropology.
